To say that being a part of Barre Body Studio has changed my life would be an understatement. Not only did the studio help me get in shape physically, but the friendships and connections I’ve made over the years are still some of the most significant and impactful in my life. This community is unbelievably accepting and generous, and I am truly blessed to have been a part of it for so long. Thank you to each and every client who has taken a class from me or with me by their side over the years; sweating with you has filled me up more than I can say. I am so grateful to have been part of this amazing community consisting of inspiring, strong, and empowering humans. This journey over the past decade is hard to put into words. It was beautiful, sweaty, hard, lifting, energizing, restorative and therapy all wrapped into one. For me, the pure joy I felt teaching classes came from seeing each one of you. When you gave it your all, by giving it one pulse, plié or jack. Seeing you smile at yourself, sometimes through tears, was my why. Helping you see YOU and alllll that you are capable of, that you showed up for YOU was my why. Keep showing up. Keep. Showing. Up. I hope that I’m some small way the classes we took together in person or virtually had a positive impact on your lives. You have all left an immense stamp on my soul. ~ Tara

I started BBS out of a community centre in 2012 and cannot believe all of the fantastic people I’ve met and the incredible memories that I’ve made over the past decade. It is hard to put into words the impact owning, operating, and creating this business has had on my life. From day one, I knew BBS was something special. I could feel it in every inch of my body. Over the years, the studios and online platforms became a place to unplug and reconnect with ourselves and each other. A place where everyone feels welcome and accepted as they are. I’d like to thank all of you for making the studios and online classes what they were. By showing up for yourself, you showed up for us and allowed us to grow more passionate week after week.
