All you need to know about your membership, our new processes and procedures as we navigate the reopening of our studios in Phase 2.

Before you come to the studio
-
Complete BOTH waivers linked above prior to coming to the studio
-
We ask that you pre-book your classes online. No drop in’s at this time.

Complete the self assessment check list found here, or on our front door prior to entering the sutdio
-
If you feel sick or unwell, cancel your class and stay home. Details of our new cancellation policy can be found here.

Change rooms, lockers, water refill station and showers will be unavailable for the short term
-
Arrive at the studio in your workout gear with grip socks and a full water bottle. Water will be available for purchase however the water station will not be available
-
Please wear your face mask when entering / exiting the studio and when in all common areas
-
Masks can be removed when you are safely in your individual pod.

Masks are NOT required during class and are NOT recommended by Dr. Hinshaw as masks restrict ones ability to breathe during high intensity workouts.

Doors will be locked during class times and will not open until 10-min prior to the start of class.

New clients are encouraged to arrive 10-min before class to get set up.
Entering the studio

Masks are required to be worn by all staff and participants when entering/exiting the studio and in all common areas.

Sanintize your hands when you enter the studio

Physical barriers have been installed at our front desk to protect both out team and our participants. Please respect each others personal space and allow our team to assist you with any retail purchases such as grip socks.

Please remove your shoes at the front entrance

Leave all of your belongings locked in your vehicle where possible

Enter the studio and select an unoccupied spot / pod
-
Spots / pods will be available on a first come basis and spot selection at reception is not available at this time

Spots / pods will be stocked with the equipment that you need for the class. If you have elected to bring your own equipment, your instructor will remove the BBS equipment for you.

Please take several disinfectant wipes and thoroughly wipe down your equipment before class

All spots/pods will be set up to guarantee a min of 3-meters distance between yourself, other participants and your instructor on all sides (2-meters for non-cardio classes such as Barre+Core+Stretch and Body by Barre)

If you elect to change your clothing on location, we ask that you use the communal locker room and do not monetize one of only two restrooms in the facility.
Sanitization
-
Commercial grade disinfectant approved by Health Canada, with 24-hour protection, will be used throughout the entire studio including all equipment, bathrooms and high touch surfaces.

All equipment set up within your spot/pod has been cleaned twice by staff following each class and we encourage that you clean the equipment prior to use.

Staff will be trained on new cleaning and disinfecting procedures for each area of the studio which include:

disinfecting high touch surfaces every ​30-min (i.e. before, during and post class)

reclining all equipment following every class
-
washing floors including in studio floors between each class
-
disinfecting ‘barres’ before and after each class

During Class
-
You are not required or encouraged to wear a mask while working out. It will impact your ability to breath during cardio vascular activity.

Our instructors are not required to wear a mask while instructing and will have their own 3-meter spot/pod just like each participant. 2-meter spot/pod for non-cardio classes.

Instructors will offer verbal cues vs hands on adjustments only.

If you are feeling unwell at any time, promptly exit the class, proceed home and use the ASH online self-assessment tool to determine if testing is needed.
After Class
-
Please disinfect and clean all of your equipment (including the barre) within your spot/pod.

You will be asked to leave all equipment within your spot/pod to minimize touch points and allow for a timely exit of the studio. We are required to lock our studio doors 10-minutes post class and limit gatherings. We hope these restrictions lift quickly. We love visiting with you.

Please sanitize your hands upon exiting.
Memberships and Class Cards

All in-studio membership resume as of September 1st, 2020 unless cancelled by the member

Drop in classes or in-studio class cards can be used for all in-studio classes and may be a better option for most with reduced class sizes and offerings

All membership and class cards can be used for in-studio OR digital classes (live stream of our in-studio class).

You will be able to book classes 1-week in advance only

Class sizes are reduced to less than 1/2 capacity to ensure proper social distancing protocols.

Digital LiveStream Membership and class cards are still valid for all digital classes.

Not all classes are live streamed to offer clients an exclusive in-studio offering

If booking an in-studio class that has a digital offering (noted as same class/date/time/instructor as your in-studio experience) you are acknowledging that you may be on camera, visible to those joining for home

Digital LiveStream of our classes will only be available for the go-live time and the link will NOT be available for use any other time than class time. NOTE: this is different that the virtual classes we were offering when our studios were closed.
