STUDIO POLICIES

CLASS RESERVATIONS

Class reservations can be made online 7 days prior to the scheduled class and up to 15 minutes before the start of class. Barre Body Studio highly recommends online or mobile class reservations. Barre Body Studio has the right to process all no-show reservations as a class attended. No refund will be granted for no-show reservations. Barre Body Studio has the right to revoke registration privileges for delinquent accounts.

No late entry will be permitted. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class or your spot will be given to a member off of the waitlist. 

In accordance with the Government of Alberta social distancing requirements for fitness studios, as of June 12, 2020 Barre Body Studio has a new class capacity of:

Studio A:

~ 11 participants for classes that include cardio components ensuring a 3-metre circumference around all participants
~ 15 participants in for non-cardio classes ensuring 2-metre distancing

Studio B

~ 4 participants for classes that include cardio components ensuring a 3-metre circumference around all participants
~ 8 participants for non-cardio classes ensuring 2-metre distancing

*pre-covid, these numbers were 30 in Studio A and 16 in Studio B.

WAITLIST

If the class is full you will be placed on the waitlist. Barre Body Studio will send you an automated email and/or a text message to notify you that you have received a place in class. The email/text will be sent in advance of 30 minutes before class. It is your responsibility to check your email if you are on the waitlist to avoid a missed class charge. When a text message is received you need to reply Y or N or you will be added to class and subject to our cancellation policy. The option to cancel your spot on the waitlist can be found in Mindbody under the Classes Tab >> My Schedule >> Waitlist button to the far left of your screen. Each class is structured to allow for a waitlist of 10 participants. 
 

CLASS CANCELLATION

Barre Body Studio understands that sometimes life gets in the way of fitness classes. Class cancellations cannot be made over the phone or via email.

We kindly request a minimum of 4-hrs cancellation notice for all week day PM classes and 12-hrs for all AM/weekend classes.

Exceptions will be made for cancellations if you or anyone in your household has:

  • Travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days

  • Had close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19 (excluding front line workers)

  • Experienced any of the following symptoms -- fever, sore throat, runny nose, or difficulty breathing (that is not related to a pre-existing condition)

  • Been legally required to self-isolate in the past 14 days

Guests who no show and do not remove themselves within the allotted timeframe will be charged as if class was attended, resulting in a loss of a class form your class card.
 

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATIONS

All in-studio memberships were re-actived as of September 1, 2020. If you would prefer to terminate your membership, complete the form linked below. All cancellation fees are waived at this time. After October 1st, 2020, members must provide 30-days notice to terminate all memberships or be subject to a $35 early cancelation fee.

VACATION HOLDS & ABSENCE REQUESTS

All monthly members may place their membership on hold once (1x) per year at no cost (min/max applies). Platinum monthly members may place their membership on hold twice (2x) per year at no cost (min/max applies). Holds must be requested at least 7-days in advance and be for a minimum of 7-days. If additional holds are required, the cost is $20 each.

REFUND POLICY

Barre Body Studio requires all class payments be received before the start of any class. Barre Body Studio will work to make accommodations for guests on a case by case basis.
 

RETAIL MERCHANDISE

At this time, all sales are final. No returns or refunds will be permitted against retail purchases inclusive of grip socks, apparel or other to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

 

SERVICES

Barre Body Studio will offer studio credit for unused services within 7 days of purchase (or 3 days prior to program commencement for registered classes and workshops). For class card refunds all classes used will be charged at the drop in rate and subtracted from the refund amount. No refunds will be issued for classes attended. Barre Body Studio class cards and memberships are non-transferable. This applies to all memberships, class cards, workshops, master classes and registered class series. Services refunded are subject to a $35 service fee.
